Community Based Outcome Measures


The Survey of Participation and Receptivity in Communities (SPARC) measures the perceived experience of participation across 19 different sites in the community.  The survey identifies where people with disabilities go in their communities and the levels of receptivity at each site.  Sites included in this survey include:

  • Your home
  • Grocery Stores
  • Pharmacies
  • Places of Worship
  • Restaurants
  • Homes of Friends &/or Family
  • Places to work/volunteer/attend classes
  • Large Stores
  • Gas Stations
  • Doctors' Offices
